I have a xantrex 40, this after 3 promariner chargers , a 15 , a20 then a40. All failed within a few months. This was years ago but have to say the xantrex has done the job for me. I bought it after a big discussion on this forum regarding battery chargers.

Which ProMariner model(s)?  The ProSport or another?

Twenty years from now you'll be more disappointed by the things you didn't do, than by the ones you did.
So throw off the bowlines.  Sail away from the safe harbor.  Catch the tradewinds in your sails.

Skippers, there is a HUGE difference between the OLD Promariner FLYBACK CHARGERS (Terri's old units, covered in the Critical Upgrades topic) and the NEW ProMariners recommened by Maine Sail (see the Electrical 101 topic - Wiring a New Charger).

Like night & day, cats & dogs, rain & shine.  Do NOT let the name fool you.

The NEW ProMariners are excellent units.
