I've noticed that several other different makes of boats will have an arch over the stern (eiter above or just aft of the bimini), to support panels, radar, antennae, davits, or whatever. Has any C34 owner tried this on the boat? I'd be curious knowing how and where at the stern it is anchored. I'd love to relocate the radar off of the aft mast and and some solar panels as well, and this seems like the best way to get them both to co-exists (without th hassle of re-wiring the radar to the mast).

Fred, Steve Dolling installed two solar panels above his bimini for his trip to Mexico.  Try pm-ing him (aka waterdog) I'm sure he has some pictures.
