I think I'm going to make one of these for our boat.

Aldo,
Great job...question...did you glue Formica on the wood or did you buy something that was pre-finished white?

I might experiment with trying to make a really light table.  Maybe frame it with pine, then fit foam in the gaps, then formica it, then add the teak trim.

It is all plywood covered in laminate except for the teak trim.
It is also free of the floor and attached to sail track for it's support.

Can you take more pictures of this table? Especially how it attaches to the sail track and how it looks at or above the bilge boards. This is really an interesting set-up.

When the children were youngsters it served  us well.

Chutes and ladders, monopoly. model cars, homework, a large pizza and all the plates.

Now my body has gotten larger and the space to squeeze by has shrunk.

When I find the energy I would like to make it over with just a bit more room around.

Getting old sucks.

What did you use to bolt it to the track?

You say it's free standing and the only thing holding it up is that one bolt?

Beautiful work.  How does this affect the bilge access?  It appears that the table support is right on top of the removable board.
also can it still be made into a bed?

A bar of stainless about with threaded holes sits in the in the track and the bolts connect to them.  I am sure there are more than one  and maybe three, I can't remember.

I would guess there is about 10" or 12" of clearance.  It's enough to service the large perko AC strainer and valves right below it..
