The screen is located on the end the fuel pickup line inside your fuel tank. To remove pull fuel pick up line from tank. This can be done by loosening the fitting on the top of tank where fuel shut of valve is.

KEV : This pickup tube screen removal has been been written up many many many times since the early 1990s.

You'll have to remove the pickup tube from the fuel tank.  The easiest way to access that tube is to first remove the port side aft cabin panel.  The tube is under the fuel cut off (butterfly valve).  Unscrew the tube from the tank and the screen is on the end of the flexable hose connected to the end of the tube.  Just pull the screen out of the flexable hose and put everything back together.
In some cases you might have to unscrew the Beckson port cap in the port side lazerette to pull up the tube, but not usually.
You might even want to replace (if missing) that 3/8" piece of fuel hose.  That hose bends 90 degrees so the opening is litterally ON THE BOTTOM of the tank.  The screen is in the hose end!    A few thoughts

When I first pulled my fuel pick up tube out I did not see the screen.  After scratching my head a bit I pulled the rubber extension tube off the brass pick up tube and tried to look through it.  Something was blocking the view.  I pushed a coat hanger or large wire thru the rubber tube and out popped the screen.  If you don't see it initially, do a bit of investigating....but then we have been talking about it for years so a previous owner may have all ready done it.  To help the next owner, if I ever decide to sell, I wrote "pick up screen removed" with a sharpie on the side of the tank.
