DarBay our  1988 C34 came with a partically installed manual bilge pump.

1)The hand pump is installed in the cockpit (stern) with a hose going to the
bilge.
2)The output hose just goes into the stern locker.
My question is:
1)Can I connect this hose to the electric bilge pump hose? What type of connection do I need?
2) or do I need to add another thru hull?

Either or both.  Our electric pump runs through the manual pump to the single thru hull.  The manual pump is therefore connected to the thru hull.   I've been meaning to install another thru hull for the electric pump, but haven't gotten around to it for, oh, the past 13 years!

Thanks Stu.

I think I will do the same. I really did not want to add another thru hole.

Brad : I'd add a seprate electric bilge pump as the C34s only came with a manual unless you took the added electric pump option.
You should look at a 2000gpm which normally needs a 1 1/8" hose (smooth interior) and thru hull.  The thru hull on the factory installation is on the starboard side about 2/3" above the manual centered exit.
