Lewmar Hatch Dogs

I have an animal control problem... I called the Animal control office about dog removal and they had no clue. So, I pose it to you...
I'm replacing the Lewmar opening port hatch dog o-rings. How do I remove the hatch dogs? I tried the Lewmar site etc. Many thanks in advance for your insight.

Lance : Take a pointed knife and pop out the center plug of the dog.  Once out, It will reveal a screw head.  Posted a number of times.
