Does the owner of sail #1691 follow this board?  Check out the picture on 'Lectronic Lattitude of 1691 lookin' good off Angel Island in SF Bay . . .

Scroll down a bit to the 'Hey sailor' article . . .

For you non-bay folks, yesterday was a little wild and wooly in the wind department . . . Maydays coming in all afternoon for capsized boats (small race boats).  Scroll on down to another article about one flipping near Alcatraz.  Sure was glad I was on my 34, enjoying fast sailing in the brisk wind!

Looks like a good sailing day!

It was a wild day!  I crossed the slot from the south bay to Richmond passing behind Angel Island around 3:00 Sunday.  My wind instrument had the wind at 32 with gusts to 38!  I was heeled over 20 degrees just on bare poles!  CG choppers everywhere with lot's of activity on the radio.

Good times...

I'm guessing they don't follow this board . . . If you know them, could you make sure they know about their claim to fame?
