Cradle

Hello!

My good friend is buying a C-34 wing keel 1990.
We will have to make a cradle for, but... mine is a fin keel...
Is somebody have a drawing of this cradle in his manual?
Or measurement of the eight of the supports? And the distance between the supports at the top?

I recall that there was a Tech Notes article about cradles a number of years ago, even included a drawing/picture.  If you're a C34 IA member, this is the link: http://www.c34.org/mainsheet/pdf/11-99_Technotes.pdf

It's in the November 1999 issue.  BTW, that article states that the cradle drawing was taken from the C34 Owner's Manual, also available on this website, see www.c34.org, use the left hand index at Manuals.

You may have to call the factory if you feel the information available isn't appropriate for a fin keel.

Fou : If your friend will look in his owners manual on page 5.2 there is a diagram of the "Lifting Recommendations" for a wing and fin keels.  It shows the shipping cradle and ALL dimensions.
