Radar cable by mast conduit

Hi fellows

I am installing a Furuno 1623 radar on my 87 MkI C34, haul # 451.
My question is:

1.- How large is the conduit diameter for the deck light?
2.- Would the radar dome cable fit through this conduit?
3.- Is there any special known trick to feed the wire through?

The conduit for the mast wiring is about 1" or maybe slightly bigger.  It currently has the wires for the lights and anything else on your mast head. (windex, vhf antenna, etc)  The cable for my new Raymarine 2kw is to big to go in it.

To run the coax to the new mast head tv antenna, I tied a line to the anchor light wires and pulled them out of the mast base, I then tied the coax to the anchor light wires and pulled them back in together.  Mast is off, much easier.  Mast on the boat is much harder, feed it in at the top, fish it out when it reaches the bottom.  Might be easier to use a messenger line that way also.

Juan : As I recall that conduit is 1 inch inside diameter. 
Don't think that you'll ever be able to feed the radar wining into that PVC conduit unless the mast is down! 
There is an alternative.  Take some 6/7 inch wire ties.  Put a group of 3 on the radar wire 120 degrees apart ever approx 6 feet.  Then feed that wire with the wire ties into the mast.  The wire ties will keep the radar wire from slapping the inside of the mast and should not interfere with the halyards.

It is a tight fit but the cable will fit in the coduit. That is the way mine was done with the Ramarine radar.

To keep our radar cable from slapping the top end is secured at the mast outlet.  The radar cable is pulled to the port side of the mast and secured with a big zip tie (or piece of line) in one of the spare (spinnaker?)halyard holes.  Bottom is pulled tight to remove slop.  When I pulled the old cable, no evidence of any chafing from the halyards.  The top spinnaker halyard outlet will be caulked to lessen water in the bilge.  I guess if i ever get a spinnaker I'll have to figure out a way to run an external halyard.

I was able to feed the radome wire harness thru the mast lights & accessories conduit. I must said that I cut the radome connector in orther to feed it in.   Next will be solder the radome wires at the mast end.  Juan.
