We are working to set up a cruise-in and BBQ at Richmond Yacht Club in August, 2007.  Once the dates have been confirmed, we will post them on the website.

4. Rendezvous - 2007

The rendezvous for 2007 will be held at Angel Island (all being well with the mooring field) on the weekend on October 13/14.

Racing:

GGYC winter Series

The last race of the series will be held on March 3, 2007. The series winner will not be decided until that race is over.  It has been a very interested series with light winds and strong current for each race making tactical decisions extremely critical.

Rite-of-Spring - double handed - March 17, 2007

Fleet 1 has raced in this race for the last two years with our own one-design start.   Entry forms can be found on the OYC website:

https://home.comcast.net/~oycrace/2007/ROS/Rites%20of%20Spring.htm

If you plan to entry, please email Chris Owen (cowen@meriwest.com ) as he is keeping count of the C34.

Inter Club Series

The first race in this series is on April 14, 2007 in the Main Bay.  This year the format is 2 races (1st and 3rd ) in the main bay and 4 races in the South Bay - less wind and tricky currents in the South Bay.  The complete schedule can be found at:

http://www.sfbama.org/2006/IC06/IC07_Schedule.htm

If you have any questions, just ask.  If you are interested in crewing to get a feel of what C34 racing is all about, let us know and we will do our best to finds you a slot.

San Francisco Cup

This three race Catalina regatta will be held once again at Golden Gate Yacht Club on the weekend of September 22/23, 2007

Crew Wanted:

As you may have heard, Stan O'Hoppe is taking his Catalina 34 south in June this year. He is looking for crew for the return trip leaving LA around July 27.  If you are interested in being part of his adventure, email Stan at: sogohop2@earthlink.net and get the details.
