Hi all....

We just became new Catalina 34' owners this weekend. Hull number 1760. We have been looking for a new boat for the last year. We were not finding the right boat until we stumbled on the Catalina 34 (long story). We had not seen the 34' at any of the boat shows. Previously owned a 2000 Macgregor 26X for 6 years....don't laugh, it got us hooked on cruising and sailing.

We both knew when we took the Catalina out that it was our boat, the boat was quick and responsive, and seemed to sail more upright than other boats we had tried.

The dealer gave us the magazine mainsheet, and suggested we come to this site. This site and all of your posts and modifications helped with the decision. Thanks.

Looking forward to many days on the water in Puget Sound.
