Outhaul sheaves

Needed to replace outhaul sheaves and this is where I found replacements.

The sheaves you refer to are for masthead sheaves, not for outhaul.
If you mean to replace the outhaul, you might check out this reference.

A 4/1 cascade system is quite nice, and if you choose to improve the purchase, you can put a 2/1 external that will result in a 8/1 internal like I have done. Works great.

I think I used Harken 30 sheaves and did a 5:1 purchase. I now have a functional outhaul!

The sheaves on my Gooseneck Casting assembly were cracking apart due to their age. When I called Catalina Direct they said this particular "masthead sheave" was used in the Gooseneck Casting assembly on C34's. I did a side by side comparison and it was an exact match. Thanks for the info.

Don't forget to get TWO of them, as the one in the end of the boom is probably also going bad.

I called Gaurhauer and they directed me to Catalina Direct. Recieved 2 sheaves in the mail the other day and are set to go.
