water in bilge normal?

This actualy is not the first one that has a lot water in the bilge, which I did not feel comforable with because the owner does not seem to be consistent in telling/explaining all sorts of failures on the boat even though he was willing to sell for a lower price. Beleive or not he said he owned the boat since 92, but he did not know the hull number, not does the boat has a CF number, neither a name. I guess it's a good way to remain "anonymous" these days.   :roll:  I think he sold it eventually, but with all sorts of problems the owner ignored to fix, I do not like inherit something like that.

If you have a factory hose from exaust to muffler, I would sure look at the aqua life muffler, where the exaust hose connects.  Mine had a crack and leaked. Had the muffler pulled and a new pipe glassed into the muffler. I then bought a silcon hump hose from Catalina Direct and have never had any more problems. It stoped all vibration to the muffler.
