Thought this might be of some interest due to the number of Cat34s in PHRF class J. Sorry for the formatting. Couldn't seem to keep the columns. Class J started at 13:10 on 4/22/05 (Friday). No bragging rights for me this year. I've done this for 10 years and this is my 6th race as owner of SchatzSea. Best we have finished is a 3rd in the Cruising Class several years ago. There were 465 entries and 379 finishers. (unofficial numbers). This has been billed as the largest international yacht race.

George

Very nice job this year and 10 years is great!  Congratulations.

I'm guessing that there is a URL link to the race website which would put everything in perspective.

Here's a link to the race site: http://www.nosa.org/05_races-lx.html. This was the 58th annual race and is a big event on the west coast. I'd hoped to beat Pywacket but they corrected 8 minutes ahead - and they were the first boat to finish. At least we beat Genuine Risk. We had a great time but I really dislike getting beat by C320s and those darn Maxis - but we'll get back at them soon!

You will need to remove the period from the previous link. It should be: http://www.nosa.org/05_races-lx.html
