Does anyone know of a outboard motor mount for the Mk II Model. The ones I have seen in the catalogues all use the 'T' system and I don't have a vertical 'T' on my stern rail. I would like to see something that would use two horizontal rails with the mount running vertically but the only one I saw was $150+. Maybe Capt. Al could be enticed to build one?

Bob, I ran into the same issue.  I bought a piece of Polyboard (24"x27"x 1/2") at West Marine and made my own.  I'm still refining it but basically I have two long pieces that sandwich the horizontal rails on the pushpit and two smaller pieces that fit inside the larger ones.  All four pieces are bolted together.  Strength comes from the "sandwich" effect on the rails as well as the inner pieces resting on the lower rail.  Seems to work ok.

Edson makes an excellent stern rail mount out of King Plastic, polyethylene starboard material.  Edson has a web site.  It is also in last years West Marine catalog.  Listed at $167.49  Works out just fine, it's well made.  Hope this helps you out.

I have seen one made of teak, but using the "Sandwich" technique described above.  The guy used three teak boards which spanned the two horizontal rails.  He put on board in the center, cut just long enough to touch the upper and lower rails, and had a groove routed out in the two other boards to fit the upper and lower rails.  It was bolted together, countersunk and pegged. Looked good.

You can fashion a tee out of bimini hardware, the key piece being a "stainless rail fitting" that will install on your lower rail.  A short piece of ss tubing and an "eye end" will complete the task.

That's about $30 worth of stuff, cheaper than the Edson mount, and for smaller outboards is should be fine.
