My faucet in the head starting dripping recently.  I managed to get the handles and the collar off but could not get the stem to budge.  Does anyone know if this is a clockwise or counterclockwise thread?  I assume that the washers are proprietary to Grohe and would have to be ordered from them.  If anyone knows differently, please let me know.
Thanks.

Grohe Shower / Faucet

Ken,

If you haven't considered it yet, you may want to use this as an opportunity to buy the shower head cutoff unit.

This link should have the part number in there somewhere: http://c34.infopop.cc/eve/ubb.x?a=search&s=329609511&reqWords=grohe

I called Grohe awhile ago, and they don't sell direct, unless Ron's had better luck.  I'd have to get mine through a local dealer, which I intend to do sometime soon, further down on the list than some other items, as you can imagine.
