Scotty : Just remember when replacing hoses that you need wire reinforced on the suction side or if the hose makes an acute bend of about 45 degrees; and nylon reinforced hose on the exhaust side of pumps.  A thought

Ron,
I just read your post on the importance of having the fuel pick up hose on the bottom, and agree 100 % with you on that.  When I bought my new tank a couple months ago I checked for a screen before installing and found that the new takns don't have the hose, just a hard plastic tube that goes to about an inch from the bottom.  So I changed it around and put the one from the old takn in with the hose on the bottom.  Others who have to replace tanks might want to look at what they are getting.
