The Racor Filter Assembly that came on the boat is a series 215
I have a R15S (2 Micron) Racor filter and a 2 Micron engine filter.
I think I should change to a 10 Micron Racor filter.  Racor said it was part number R15T.
1) I can't find one -- who can I call?

2)Does anyone seriously diagree with going to a Racor 10 micron, while leaving the engine filter as a 2 micron  -- or -- is it OK to stay with both as 2 microns?

thanks

What does your manual call out?  Why would you want to go to 10 micron?  A rated 2 micron is not absolute.  Some particles larger can get thru, that's the nature of filtration rating.

The only reason to go to a 10 is the 2 fills up too quickly but that would indicate contamination getting into your fuel tank (dirty fuel).

The cleaner the better for the life of your injector system, I believe.
