Guys : If you don't have a "Jabsco Little Pal hand pump" that Jon mentioned - GET one!!  It is the handiest thing to have on you boat. I use that for all kind of projects - from emptying the head bowel when I change pumps/joker valves to changing the oil in the transmission.  Really a neat item to have onboard!!

I agree with Ron. 
And they last.  Had mine over 25 years.  The one with the brass body.
