Guys : The switch body is in two parts the metal part screws in to the engine block and get warm/hot and therefore as metal does it expands.  the upper/outer part is Bakelite/plastic and has little expansion so the joint is bound over time to fail!!  That's why I recommended to clean that joint (lacquer thinner) and apply epoxy all the way around - to keep the joint from separating!

Works for me, A thought

Thank you all for your guidance and suggestions. Napa $13 oil pressure switch did it. Replaced it and motored about yesterday. Miles away at home now so do not have the napa PN.

Hey all if anyone locates aftermarket parts that worl, let's post the part numbers so we can add them to alternate parts lists on the wiki!!
Twenty years from now you'll be more disappointed by the things you didn't do, than by the ones you did.
