It sounds to me like this method would avoid any air bubbles, and the need to burp the system. Did you find that to be the case?

Indeed, it's quick and what I like best is that it's quite thorough. I flush until I see a consistent stream of clean water and then a consistent colour of antifreeze. Helps to have a second person present to either hold something or swap buckets as it gets full.
