Does anyone know of the existence of a broken C34 mast? I need a one foot long piece of it. Happy to pay for someone's time to get it and ship it to me.

The previous owner of our boat had/has her original and slightly damaged mast.

You have (at least) got me curious! What is your intended purpose for it?

Lol, nothing spectacular. I'd like to make winch pads out of fibreglass and having a section in the garage would simplify it a lot.

The other mast is from a MKII, pretty sure it's a different profile. Is yours from a MKI? What would you want for like an 18" slice?

What you need is a contour gauge. Can find on Amazon for under $20.

And then transfer the shape to what?

So you can build a mold that matches the contour of your mast.

Wood sandwich, welded-up aluminum, moulded fiberglass...???? What was your plan, to slice mast section in half??

Use it to layup fibreglass on to get a perfect match.

Not saying I can't do it without a piece of a mast, but it sure would be a lot easier.
