The side windows zip off and the front window zips up. Since you are not supposed to roll up polycarbonate windows., they added a webbed strap and twist fastener to hold the center window when folded up on top of the dodger when I want ventilation.

Noah that is pure class.  I lobe my cali-style dodger. 
How does the awning affix to the backstay (I have a bimini with connecting awning to the dodger.)

Ken—The awning has a pocket with a telescoping aluminum pole running athwartship that clips/hooks to a ring seized to the backstay "V" intersection fitting and also has a line on each end of the pole that clips to the pushpit.
