« on: September 03, 2020, 07:59:37 AM »

Hi All,

I have a 34 tall rig, can anyone tell me the recommended length for a whisker pole.

Thanks

I have always gone with that the safe working length (for an adjustable) should be = to or > the J dimension.

Twenty years from now you'll be more disappointed by the things you didn't do, than by the ones you did.
So throw off the bowlines.  Sail away from the safe harbor.  Catch the tradewinds in your sails.

I believe Foresparís 10-18 adjustable is a good pole that many have used.
