How do I determine value ?
« on: December 03, 2019, 09:30:25 AM »

I have a 1997, Catalina 34, 1700 hours, standard rigging, well maintained in San Diego.  Only two people have owned this boat, I bought her in 2002.

I think I want to sell as I want to get a larger sail boat.  How do I determine the value?

John,

You look at comps.

Look at Latitude 38, The Log, other boating publications, yachtworld and other online sites.

But remember, condition, condition, condition is the key factor in successful sales.

Good luck.
