The boat suffered a "hydrolock" and needs the engine replacement or repair. The reputable marine shop (located in Grenada) has provided a written quotation to replace the engine with a new Beta 25 (including transmission and installation) for $10,700.  The boat's equipment is in good or above average condition. Fully equipped for cruising in the Caribbean with modern electronic equipment including radar and autopilot, newly installed windlass with 20 kg Rocna anchor, roller furling for both genoa and main (sails in almost new condition), 2000W Honda generator, 100W flexible solar panel, new head with holding tank, hoses and macerator, dodger and bimini. (The boat is also equipped with Caribe 11' (RIB) dinghy and 18 HP Nissan outboard purchased at the end of 2016 in very good condition which can be sold separately but they are not included in price of the boat).
The price of the boat includes also a professionally installed "hurricane" mooring (based on the sea screw system, value $2,500) located in the Hog Island Bay, one of the best protected moorings in Grenada and Caribbean considered as a hurricane hole, close to marinas and shopping. It is an ideal place as a springboard for Grenadines' exploration and the winter get-away.
The priced has been recently reduced -  I am planning to get a bigger boat before a start of the season. It does not make too much sense to me to re power the boat and then try to sell her later. Time is of the essence to me.
