Autohelm

Can anyone tell me where the fluxgate compass is located for the factory installed Raymarine fluxgate compass that is connected to the Autohelm?  Mine has been acting very flukey of late and is impossible to synchronize with the compass.

Peter -

Mine is located low on the aft face of the forward bulkhead of the water heater compartment.  This bulkhead forms the back of the battery compartment and the back of the main salon settee.

Fluxgate located.  In the aft cabin, under the center storage cover.

Because the dealer usually installs the autopilot during the commissioning process, the compasses are not mounted in the same place on all boats.  Mine (Mk II #1383) is in the locker under the settee forward of the holding tank on the port side.     Happy hunting.

Mine is in the bilge, on the on the aft side of the mast footing

Mine is located by the factory in the same place as Crews Nest, on the port side just forward of the holding tank.

Mine is located on the port bulkhead on the forward side inside of the locker just before the V berth.  I have hull# 1321.
