i insured my recent purchase with american family who then requested a survey. the repair yard at the marina where i keep the boat prepared a one page report with 3 photos. cost $65. this satisfied them. joe

good luck on your purchase. i,too, bought a 1988 c-34, with delivery on april 1. i've had 5 days of sailing in 15 to 30 knot winds. problems have been minimal and mostly due to inexperiance with the boat. joe

i have just purchased a 1988 c-34. when i decided to lower the salon table to make a berth i assumed i only needed to untighten the bolt on the table leg and it would lower. i did and it didn't. is there something else i am supposed to do or is it not operating correctly?
