Last year I sailed from northern Italy via Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro and Albania to Greece. I was on the way for about 10 months. In January and February I was back in Germany and the boat was in the south of the Peleppones safe in a port with international community of cruisers in wintering. In 2 weeks we're going back to the boat. I still have a few things to do on it and will eventually take it off. Actually, our plan is to have no plan. One idea was to go via Israel and Egypt through the Suez Canal and further east towards Asia. But maybe it's at the moment not the best idea to sail along Oman and Yemen. So I think we'll hang around and cruise in the Eastern Mediterranean for another year or two between North Africa, Greece, Turkey and Italy. We will see ...

I don't really understand the question. I'll take a photo where the tree goes to the mast.
But now everything is packed up in the laszybag and I'm at anchor in the south of the Pelopponese in a thunderstorm and rain.

my power management experience. I live (as a couple) permanently in the Mediterranean Sea (currently Albania) on board and have a 3x110Ah service battery bank and a 70Ah starter battery. All lead/acid closed. I can charge via shore power, via a standard alternator or via a solar panel on my equipment carrier. the third IS it!!!
Today is July 13th and I was last on shore power in an Italian port on May 14th. I have normal consumers, with the refrigerator probably being the biggest power guzzler. my solar panel is 385W and the charge is managed by a Victron smart 100/50 and goes directly to the service battery bank. before noon this is always completely full, in cloudy weather after noon. it's fantastic, better than i hoped. I don't really need anything else.

in the saloon there are these 3 sliding doors on each side (above the sofas), which in my case are made of wood. I want to paint them and I don't know how to get them out. Does anyone have advice for me?

.... Thanks. I hope so. I don't want to have the part sent thousands of kilometers to Europe and will look for it here.

... Ah understand. drain water. I don't freeze in the Mediterranean, but after running the starter engine for a long time without starting, the water collector can fill up and water "rebounds" which would be fatal for the engine.

thx for the help

Hello everyone, can any of you tell me what the function of the small metal tap at the bottom of the water collector (I think your call if muffler) is?

edit: on the right side, the small one

... I also think what moves is this nylon ring and not the GRP tube in which the rudder shaft is located.

... to my knowledge, a gas-powered refrigerator will not function satisfactorily unless it is stationary and fix.
But I'm not a specialist on the subject.
