The whole problem with galvanic action is the green wire from the shore power cord being connected to your engine. A power isolation transformer on the power lines doesn't do much good. Any transformer that is loaded or working will give off heat. Charlie

OK I'll bite  ;)   I'm not sure what you are suggesting here  since isolation transformer definitely takes care of "shore power connection to the engine" by eliminating it.

Question about the heat is more of how much rather then if .
We are talking about something like Charles Marine Iso-G2 3.6 kVA - I looked at the manual nothing there, did not call manufacturer yet .
I hope for some real live experience like mark_53 provided. (thank you)

I found mine N202M-16 on Ebay from new from globalpower for about $210
Oberdorfer now makes N202M-G908  - direct bolt-on replacement for  Sherwood G908 but it is priced at least $120 more then N202M-16

You can re-drill old flushed thru-hulls and use them as "washers" for new mushrooms - no glass work needed.
Possibly not most elegant solution but no compromise on strength either.

Do you have a transformer there as well ?

So far we have 3 production years and 3 different plug locations  :?

There is definitely something about cockpit locker being not very dry therefore not ideal for electrical anything but ..... I already have "electrical box" right there and no signs of trouble

I need to make a dummy template and start measuring alternative locations

I did look at both, with transformer there is simply no "technical" or "functionality" downside "just"  1) price   2)  size 3) weight  - last two are definitely manageable .

More I think about location more I'm eyeing cockpit locker, it would be right next to my shore power plug and fairly out of the way . Am I missing something here ?  :think

I think these are also called garboard drain plugs. (not uncommon in N Europe)
Would it be difficult to replace with lets say Perko  bronze ?
"Cracking" sounds scary I would think of it as a motivating factor .

I'm contemplating adding Isolation Transformer while upgrading to Smart-plug , and looking for advice / suggestions on location , brand etc. (pic would be great)

I found one from  Charles Marine Iso-G2 3.6 kVA  size ~ 10" x 10" x 10"

Thanks,
Marc

I would be interesting to hear from people in charge of c34.org about "technical stats". From what I can see, site is hosted at Lunarpages and they offer many plans and levels of service.
If you start reading terms of service especially from places like godaddy.com you realize that "unlimited" is more of marketing term then reality.
There is more to consider then an advertised price of storage, bandwidth not to mention migrating tolls, time, reputation of hosting company (example given is not exactly stellar)
Don't get me wrong I'm not an enemy of improvement, but I'm strong fan of homework.

Related idea:
If image resizing is a real problem can we perhaps start  with automating the task?
Simple machine forum (template used here) appears to have that ability
http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=2206

Do we have someone with some expertise ?

Server storage is never cheap. But you can resize the pics see  http://c34.org/bbs/index.php?topic=3701.0

Hose in the pic is not a recommended - Hump Hose (you can find one on Catalina direct)
I would not conciser replacing it a very difficult job but you will be working in very limited space.

You might want to inspect your exhaust riser while you are on the topic.

No "bump" - nice,  and there are only 6 boats between us...

 Someone was definitely "creative" with these valves.
I like the green one.
