I've got the same half round piece located at the bottom of the companionway entrance.  Works well, I get no water intrusion.

I am planning to check my keel bolts when I pull the boat in spring.  Appreciate all the info, saves time, & money, learning from what others have done is just a good idea.

What is the best way to check if I have wood embedded below the bilge.  I have an early 34 #42 & am trying to determine what projects I may plan for.

I find VISIO to be a good SW program for quick simple drawings.

I helped a friend install the unit you selected to his ice box, it never had refrigeration.  I agree it was pretty straight forward & he installed the cold plate with a 90 deg bend to fit into his current ice box.  It works great & we were both surprised it does not draw much powe.  He found it online via a sale & go it for about $750 about 10 m0onthsd ago.

Interested.  Is it functional?

PO added double doors behind toilet.   Amazing how much space is available.  I like the holes for ventilation.

When I did my rewiring last year I left the Nav table in place.  I'm not sure how much easier removing it would make the job but others may have a different opinion.

Very good design, door has piano hinge in center & it folds outward but is removable.

Any chance to get drawings if not making for sale?

I have 2 water tanks; V berth & starboard side under salon seat.  A water bladder was also installed under the aft berth.  All tanks are vented.  V berth & starboard tank vents are joined together & vented at the starboard stanchion.  Bladder was vented to a fitting in the starboard side aft cockpit.

What model Windlass did you use.  I like the model you used better than the Maxwell.

Have to remove the end caps to get to it, no way to fish a messenger line through.
