Main Message Board / Sticky Sliding Hatch Cover
January 20, 2004, 01:59:38 AM
Hi, we had the same problem with our hatch when the boat was new.  The hatch was replaced under warranty.  It was a bear sometimes to open it from down below.  I could never understand how it got that far before being fixed.

Main Message Board / scam

Hi Bob, I can't help you on why it won't open.  I know others can.

Peter, I can't believe people really fall for this stuff.  We get different forms of this at work on e-mail also.  Wish they could get caught but my bet is you'll never track them down.

Main Message Board / scam

I don't know if my attachements will show but I'll try.  Someone is working the for sale list with a scam for buying our boats.  The scam is obvious so I thought you would enjoy a laugh.

It's a great idea!  Let's keep it simple. I've already bought a couple of things off this website just by people mentioning them in a thread.

Main Message Board / Ice Box Hinge
September 09, 2003, 05:21:07 AM
Hi Ken,  I tried to use a fine thread stainless screws.  It depends on how close to thread size your pre-drilled hole is.  I was close and still got a little chip on top.  It's hidden by the hinge so no damage done.

Hi,  We used the stainless hinges.  I had to pre-drill the holes because that counter top chips very easily.  We also use a spring to hold the door open.  But with the spring you have to be careful.  One slight touch by accident and down comes the door.

I just did my water pump over the weekend.  I had ordered the sleeve ahead of time just in case.  Sure enough the sleeve was missing and I had to install it.  That's on hull number 1488 just for the record.

Hi, My fresh water pump cycles about the same as yours.  It doesn't do it all the time though.  I been wanting to take the pump apart.  Maybe this season.

Hi,  check out one of the previous posts by Larry.  He's selling a spinnaker and chute for about $950.00 which is a good price.
