Insulation doesn't reduce moisture.  Heat or de-humidification will reduce relative humidity.

As others have said, the water temperature stays well above freezing so inside the boat does too.  Humidity is an issue though. Unless you have some source of heat, a light bulb or heater, and a way to move the air, mildew can be a problem.  Not a big fan of de humidifiers since they work best in warmer climates by condensing high humidity warm air.  Heat will decrease relative humidity.  Also, flip cushions on their sides so air circulates.  Leave a window cracked that won't let rain in.  Use a boom/cockpit cover to minimize potential leaks.

Possibly condensation in the exhaust.  Do you have a low point drain in the exhaust?

Do you have a voltage monitor installed?  If not, get one. Some recommend Balmar Samrtgauge, some Victron.  That should tell you the amp draw when battery switch is off.

The other cracked head or block symptoms weren't evident. Compression and overall engine performance, temp, exhaust were good, even at WOT of 3400 RPM and cold start. This C34 was mostly idle over the past three years...only 30 hours logged. I'm wondering if something might be growing in that coolant system.

Well if it's running good that's a good sign.  Take a glob out and examine with a magnifying glass.  Could be just very old anti freeze.

How would oil get into the coolant? I'm not sure where the crossover might have occurred.

Someone put it in, cracked block, cracked head, head gasket...

Check the color of the oil.  If brown (not black) there is water in it.

The side mounted terminals option is the same for Eximius, I'm pretty sure there's not enough space above the battery for top mounted terminals. The AGM requirement is simply because that's what we have and it has worked great.
Got a link to that interstate?

Paul

An AGM that lasted only 5 years?  Doesn't sound so great to me.  My Walmart flooded group 78 lasted that long.

Looks like some leakage around the crack.  I'd let it dry out and fill with epoxy.

I don't se why you just don't use your generator as if it was a shore power 30amp receptacle and plug your Marinco directly in.

I think I lost Yachta Yachta Yachta sitting on the keel upright in 20 inches of water have pictures of the inside some hairline cracks and several other cracks.

I hope she can be saved had her from day one will see when I can have her towed out of the mud.

Hope any other owners down in the area are safe and made it through the storm.

Wow, "had her from day one".  Not many like that.  Sorry to hear. Keep us posted please.

Porch : Your first photo is baffling and most certainly NOT of a C34!!

A thought

Yes, it is. The starboard access door looks modified to reduce vibration.

Thanks, Ron
I have no trouble finding the mini rocker switch with candescent bulb but was looking for one with LED light in the rocker.
Paul

Just curious, how many amp hrs does that save?

There's more than one way to deal with this issue.
Yes, I used a 3' piece of 3 wire 14 gauge Romex. Open the thru hull, if water comes gushing out, it's not blocked. Close quickly.
