We maybe further south than you were intending to mean. yes enjoying the 25c plus weather.
I got to check out the Clipper 70's yesterday here in Sydney thanx to fellow C34 owners and leg crew Tasha and Ryan from www.turftosurf.com
The weather here will be warm to hot for the next couple of months maxing out at low 40's on a few occasions.
Don't you guys look forward to the ski season?

We are getting one made at the moment. Getting rid of the old lazy jacks and old sail cover. We are using our local club trimmer as he did a magnificent job on our bimini replacement which was a PITA for him with our solar panels and split back stays. Work of Sunbrella and zipper art.
Someone more local to you might point you in the right direction for a supplier.

Or you sit up on top of your ladder. Just add some lashings of rope as a back rest/safety option as here

So Ken
What are your amp hours for your house bank now?
We have 2 x 95ah and with our original AB refrigerator, and we are lucky to get one day out of our batteries.

Ken

I can't help you with the size but when you unscrew the fitting from the tank, make sure you have something to catch any drips. i.e. cut down plastic drink bottle and some old cloth to catch any drips ... our smell wasn't that bad when I replaced our macerator.
possibly put a lot of weight astern when pumping out and transfer it forward when you dismantle the pump fittings.
Just a thought ... good luck

cheers

Thanx Mainsail

This is the quote from CD.

One option is to ship via US Postal Service.  The shipping costs are only approximate and can vary by a few dollars, but are nearly always less than the other alternatives.  Unfortunately, if your package is lost or damaged, you will end up having to pay for a replacement shipment yourself if you are ordering special order or custom parts (anything requiring a deposit, made to order rigging, or cut line, for example).

USPS -  $64.30

A second alternative is to ship via UPS.  UPS is more expensive, but the quote is exact and the package can be tracked to its final destination.

UPS - $159.73

I saw this  http://ircalc.usps.gov/MailServices.aspx?country=10013&m=13&p=0&o=1&mt=10&MailingDate=11/19/2013&MailingTime=8:00%20AM&dv=50   which allows for up to 4 lbs

Maybe it is a business export thing.
Clay Green sent me a spinnaker sock and I am sure it was nothing like that even as bulky as it was.

cheers

Thanx Stu
I could get a new complete unit, but I feel removing the existing could be a marathon event.
As I said your fittings are nothing like ours and by the time you add couplings the hose wont pull out.
I have bought heaps of stuff from "the states" including heavy items, but feel CD ae over covering the expense.
I am sure the total weight would be under a kilo/2 pounds.
Keep in touch with any info. The hose is out of stock for 3 weeks.

Guys
I have contacted Catalina Direct to purchase a replacement Head sink flexible hose. They are quoting either $64.30 for USPS or $159.73 for UPS for postage to Sydney Australia. I feel this is a tad costly. The hose is under $50.00.
Would one of you ever helpful people be able to get a quote for the postage and I could PayPal you the money after I have purchased the item and sent it to your local address.
Ours has a steady leak under pressure.
I have scoured plumbing suppliers here but our fittings are totally different.
Thanx in advance

Bill
We have a 12volt start battery 90 amp/hour, close to and behind the motor under the rear bed, as well as 2 x 12 volt 90 amp/hour, just in front of the sink under the seat. These allow the original Alder Barbour fridge freezer to work well as long as a couple of hours are spent running the engine each day. I do notice if iPhone/iPad charger left on overnight doesn't allow the fridge to make it till the morning. We will replace with bigger batteries when required.
good luck

Pure sine wave is better than modified sine wave (don't use a computer on modified sine).
I would get a size double of what you want you will need to cover the starting power spike.
cheers and good luck with your choice.

I would say no as the loop is higher than the tank. Though to be sure, empty the tank first then check the valve and clean it.
I cant say I have ever heard it on our boat.
