Hi John, thanks for the great article in the Mainsheet. I have the Figure #1 set up in my boat and have had this set up in previous boats.
My question John, I have a Perko battery switch that goes: 2, all, 1, and then to Off.  Is it Ok to pass from 1 to all and also 2 to all?
A second question how would you hook the 110 battery charger into the system, I have two battery banks.
Thanks for any input.
Paul

Purchased the H324-8cc from Pompanette.  Worked with Marty and they were very cooperative.  I installed it today.  Almost too easy. They did not want the old parts back.  If anyone wants parts from the old continuous system, I would be glad to part with them for the cost of shipping.

Jim, when I bought my C34, I had it documented.  Paper work was easy.  The only reason I did this was to save paying 6% sales tax.  A loophole in the Michigan law.

If you replace your hoses or take one off you will find a screw inside the metal pipe about half inch from the bottom.  This is were the little chain is anchored.

I took off my 915 furling system and ordered the SeaFurl 5-325.  Hood has a very attractive trade in policy and very friendly salesperson.
Thanks for all the input.

You might try Torresen Marine in Muskegon, MI. I know they had some used parts last spring.  #1-231-759-8598. Ask for the service dept.

I mark the turnbuckles and slacken the shrouds 2 turns on all shrouds except the forestay.  Change the oil and filter at haul out, top up the fuel tank and change the fuel filter.  Every 4 yrs. the mast comes down for the winter for inspection.  This has worked well for me for the past 30yrs.

Would appreciate feedback on these two furling systems from Hood. Also, if you went with the 808 did you use the 6" or 12" link to the deck plate?
Appreciate you input.
Thanks, Paul

I have decided to replacing my 915LD.  What did you replace it with and any changes to the forestay?
Appreciate your feedback.

Ken, you mentioned that you replaced your old system with SF5 model 235. Was not able to find this model on Hood's website.  Did you mean 325?
The upgrade on ebay sold for $790.  I am thinking to put on a new furling as you suggested.
Thanks,
Paul

My son wants to buy a towable C-25.  Does anyone have experience with towing and size of vehicle?
Thanks,
Paul
