The control module on the compressor is shot. I was told a new one was $600.00 but a whole new compressor unit was only $900.00.   Has anyone found a suitable replacement for these units or can recommend where to source parts for these units.

I lost one of my vents and can not find the right replacement. I have a Nicro Marine NF 27200 rain trap with a male end but all the vents seem to have male ends also.

I just replaced my mainsail halyard and the PO had installed 7/16 and I went back to the OEM 3/8".  Well now my Cam lock doesn't want to hold the line.  I sprayed it with lubricant and worked it a dozen times and eventually it held, but one I opened and closed it again the line would slip.  Will continuing to exercise it do the trick or am I going to have to rebuild it.

Any suggestions, greatly appreciated

I am thinking about installing sheet bags on my C34. I don't like the idea of installing them directly onto the bulkhead. I thought mounting a strip of wood to the bulkhead and then the bags to the wood is a better way to go. Any thought or suggestions?

On my Port side i have a Spinnaker, Genoa 1 and Genoa 2 line. Why so many, is one an emergency spare?

WM is having a sale on line 25% off I think until Christmas.   I went with the OEM line from Catalina direct.

All sails in good shape, Spinnaker is in brand new condition.  Main sail needs battens has some light spots near the foot, I have not tried to remove them and not sure what caused them.  All measurements are approx as it was windy the day I measured them and couldn't keep them flat on my driveway.

I'll second the R&W Rope

It's been a while since I have been up that way.  I hope Antonio's Restaurant is still in business.

Buddy,  Defender.com tends to be competitive for most stuff. I believe halyards have been covered well on this site, from type of line to size. I replaced mine last year and was more concerned about the size as it effects ease of raising. You may want to complete your signature info. your location, TR.... it may enable others to help you find products locally.

Yes they have been covered well, but as I stated the information was dated and I was looking for an update.

I have searched the threads on replacing the Main sail and Spinnaker Halyards and most are quite old.  The way technology changes, I am looking for some more up to date advice on line replacement.

I am also looking for the best place to purchase lines as well as Winch covers with splits. I don't want to end up with some cheap Chinese crap.

I have a Main sail, a 135% and 155% Genoa as well as a symmetrical spinnaker with sock.

The 135% is a Dabney with a green sun cover and the 155% is a Schurr with a blue sun cover.

The Spinnaker I believe has never been flown..

I think the main is also a Schurr. I do not have the battens for it.   If you PM me your email I will send pictures

Buddy

What brand sock I'd it?

I have an ATN sock, I finally found a video that shows the collar that goes over the rollerfurled jib...

I have an Asymmetrical with sock and collar that came with my boat. It was never used and I had to have it rigged into the sock.

I watched a video on how to rig it and i see you have a line leading to the collar to adjust the height.  I have  line leading down the center of my cabin roof which I assumed was the downhaul for the spinnaker pole. Is there any reason I couldn't use that line for adjusting the height of the collar. This way I could do it from the cockpit.

If anyone has one I would love to see how yours is rigged. Picture are worth a thousand words
