RTFM!!!!!!
I looked at the wiring diagram and there is a breaker for the oil alarm in the panel right next to the red indicator.
I pressed it and now it works

I have a 1993 Catalina C30 with the 23HP M25XPAC engine with Seaward panel.

My Oil pressure sensing system has developed a fault - it never sounds.
I have tested the audible alarm functionality by shorting out the over temp alarm since both temp and oil sensors use the same audible alarm. Sounds fine.
I have disconnected the oil pressure switch and still no audible OR visual alarm indicators.
I recently replaced the ignition switch and IIRC the alarm worked fine. I have re-checked the ignition switch wiring and as far as I can tell all looks good - but I am suspicious that the fault developed after replacing the switch.

These doors were made for C30 boats.
We did some unrealistic testing by squirting water from a hose directly at the doors and there was no leaking anywhere.
There is indeed a piano hinge in the middle.
The "pocket" that holds the acrylic in place has weep holes in the bottom.

I just made 2 sets. One out of teak and the other out of mahogany.
They have a insect screen and removable acrylic panels.

What are you trying to fabricate?

I made replacement trim rings for my C25 out of cherry (interior) and PVC board (coaming pocket trim).

For exterior trim I used PVC board, which when painted, looked very good. I only painted them because the PVC has a granular texture when machined and I was concerned that this would trap dirt.

We could use HDPE but making a ring out of a single piece is very wasteful. We could make straight sections and separate "ends" which would be much more economical.

I just installed Lonseal's Teak and Holly on 2 boats. It's really nice stuff and is the vinyl now used by Catalina.

From the manual

"The pilot controller should be situated at least 0.8m from an engine, compass, high current power cables, or any magnetic device."

How would one then install the control head on a typical pedestal, that has a compass directly beneath it and a RAM mic directly next to it?

I did the change too - Sherwood to Oberdorfer. However, my engine temp gauge now doesn't get much above 135 degrees - it was 160 before the change.
Is there any way to restrict the flow?
Since the temp difference occurred immediately after the switch, I don't think it is the thermostat.
