Got it! Any idea where I could get one? I got one with that part number from a local Universal dealer but it doesn't seem to be a snug fit on the alternator shaft. It's possible they just gave me the wrong one.

I replaced mine with Motorola (Leece Neville) 12V 90A Marine Alternator 110-603, pulley Mot 107-1, adapter bushing MOT 118-2. Did not use an external regulator. Quite an improvement over the original 51A.

Hi Mick,

Thanks for this info. I am copying what you did, but having trouble finding the pulley. I can't find mot 107-1, but am seeing prestolite 107-1 and Motorola 7-1. Any info or sources for this pulley would be much appreciated.

Main Message Board / JMP Raw Water Pump?
May 09, 2023, 07:09:46 PM
Hello! Has anyone had success using JMP Marine JPR-WB7108 raw water pump on their M-35B engine? Thoughts? Seems that it can replace the Sherwood G908.

Hi Dave
Interesting that your boat has a hard fiberglass enclosure.  Mine is cabinetry, which I have since placed screws with finish washers on the two sides so I can simply unscrew them and pull the whole wood panel off.  Also pictured is the door I cut into the side to access the pencil zinc.  I believe this door was put into a Mainsheet tech article a number of years back.

Hi Roc, Have you been able to get the cabinetry panel that runs port to starboard across the aft end of the engine above the transmission off? It seems like mine is glued in place. I would love to get it off to have more access to remove the heat exchanger. Thanks!
