Question , We have owned #553 for 6yrs. And now we live aboard full time. Wife would like to use shower , but the water will not drain ,rebuilt the pump under the head sink and all it does now is either blows water from drain or nothing at all (over flows). One suggestion is to disconnect hose from pan floor and drain into bilge.
Any suggestion?
Thanks In Advance.

Recommend a heat gun , gloves and a cabinet makers scraper used vertically ,  heat up the old stuff till it bubbles and  scrape off old top coat and lightly sand , and use the sealer for the under side of floor boards several coats . Let cure 100% and flip over to top side and start your process good luck.

Steve,
Although it works rather well i would not run it for more than a couple of hours without some fresh air introduction , we ran an Alpine Air in a Cessna 310 (45 days on low)and all interior had prematurealy aged crumbled under pressure J.A.T.

Have 2 SAFT batteries , wanting to replace them with 2 ea of the Optima Bluetop Group 27 , Optima 's low maintenance is the primary reason to change out any thoughts on other type of batteries ?
