Hi,
I am moving my C34 from the SF bay area to Olympia this month. I am used to paying the property tax fee for the boat every year to the county that it is in. In runs around $380 a year. I currently don't pay anything to the state of California for a fee. For the county I have the value listed as $44,000 or something like that.

What iare you guys paying to the state of Washington on top of what the marine changes? I haven't seen a simple formula anywhere on the yearly cost.

Hi Bob,

The annual licensing fee varies by county, but I would expect it to run much less than $380 per year. There are no additional state fees.

I just renewed my registration for our 2001 boat in Skagit County (Antacortes) and paid $160. It used to be about the $380 number when it was new. They have a sliding scale at some value they have.
