Title: Length of reefing lines, single line reefing retrofit

Like all Catalina tall rigs of my boat's vintage, she came with slab reefing. I converted it to single line reefing led back to cabin top like many other owners did. What is the proper length of each line and diameter? Thanks.

50 and 75 feet based on my figures
Now the diameter! 5/16?

Cliff I believe it is 5/16. Your hull # is before mine so use the Mk 1 manual for your reefing info as it matched my setup. Since originally your lines did not go back to the cockpit I think that the length of the lines will be custom to your boat
