Went to the boat yesterday and my st60+ wind instrument shows the dash lines, my vane was ripped off by an osprey about a year ago but still gave me speed now nothing any thoughts, the unit is 15 years old.
Also my head unit on the st4000 went black the auto pilot still works I figure I have to replace the head unit.
Wondering has anybody changed to the i50 or or i60 units?
Paul
Paul,
The Raymarine technical forum has pretty good information to narrow down troubles with older products. I found this link useful to troubleshoot an issue I was having with my ST50 wind instrument. It says its applicable to ST50 and ST60 until but it may also be useful for your ST60+. If not, searching their forum or asking a question about your specific unit will likely yield some useful information.

Dave,
Thanks I did go there nothing for the wind, and I think the head on the auto is just shot.

I had similar problem with my ST 4000 - replacing LCD fixed the issue.
You can get replacement LCDs from France, available on ebay for around $130 (search for: Raymarine Autohelm LCD screen ST4000+)
It is fairly simple repair.
Thank you for the info I checked it out.

Paule,
Here are pictures of my old autopilot head st4000+. You are welcome to it if you want. Was working but after some time running would not hold course. My new evolution autopilot works so much better. If you want it PM me.
