This was highly recommended by a couple we met at Friday Harbor a few weeks ago.

Guys : I'd recommend that if the is a Catalina Rendezvous in your area to definitely attend.  There are interesting seminars given by Catalina and local boating experts.

I've attended 3 in the past and always had a great time. 
I even won the Grand prize of a week @ Franks' Condo in Mexico - took the family down there and out of the snow in January!!

Is one anywhere close to Erie,PA?  Don't think so, wish there was.  Don't think there is even a dealer on Lake Erie.

There was a mid west rendevous several years ago, Chicago or somewhere in Michigan, can't remember.  We have not had one on the east cost in probably 5 years.  IIRC it costs Catalina about $15k to do an east coast event.  With the current economy, just can't afford to do them.
