Title: Fuel tank sender
Post by: crieders on May 20, 2015, 01:54:29 PM
I know there have been posts on this
My question is does anyone have any photos on how to get to it
If the board is removed in the rear birth, can it removed? Is there enough height in our boats or does a hole have to be drilled in the locker above it?
Thank you

Cliff : There are numerous posts and my Mainsheet tech note article/s that answer your question!!!

You get to the fuel tank by removing the port side aft cabin panel.
Incase you have never noticed, there is a Beckson port installed in the floor of your port side lazerette -- guess what happens when you unscrew it? and look inside?

When you remove the fuel sending unit it will lift up and into that open Beckson port.

A few thoughts

When was your post? I have not been able to find it although it does seem to me that I saw it once before a few years ago

Cliff : Can't zero in on the post, but look in the Nov 2003 Mainsheet tech notes for fuel sender replacement.
