Title: Rudder repair
Post by: Set2sea on April 23, 2015, 05:18:58 PM
For those that have drilled drain holes in the rudder and have filled rudder tube with epoxy, I have the following question:
Can't I tape the drain holes and let the Gluvit that I pour into rudder tube fill them.
Thank you

I don't think that will work.  The Gluvit won't make it that far through the rudder.   But go ahead and give it a try.

Paul : There is epoxy putty out there.  Just break off a small piece, nead it and plug the hole.

As mentioned if Gluvit drains that far down in your rudder, you have much bigger problems!!!
