So far I have 15 or so in for a discount purchase of the SmartPlug.

Most want the plug + inlet retrofit kit.

I'm really surprised - I was expecting a lot more would want to protect their investment.
One look at RC's pics of burnt up twist locks convinced me (well that along with my dockside connector smoking )

I'm hoping that the kit will be in the $160 range.
Obviously no commitment until the final pricing is set, but I also would like to keep it to fairly committed numbers and avoid rudder kickers.

The Catalina Association group purchase / SmartPlug deal is back.
The deal/prices are a little different than last year, but all are below the well-known discount house located in CT, and the deal still includes a free cord weathercap for qualifying orders (basically either a retrofit kit or a cord + boatside inlet,) and the order is shipped UPS directly to you (lower 48) from the distributor for a $9 flat charge.
So, anyone interested in getting in on the group purchase please email me OFF LIST ASAP and I'll email you an order form.
