Has anybody done a dinette table modification like the one on this boat? (I hope I can post the picture correctly). This comes from a 1998 C34 for sale in Milford, CT (Yacht World (http://www.yachtworld.com/listing/yw_listing_detail.jsp?checked_boats=865532¤cy=USD&units=Feet)).

Interesting, I have a 1999 C34 and the picture that you posted looks like a complete different table than what we have. That is, even with cutting ours down fore and aft it would still be much wider side to side than the one shown. I wonder if the owner made this table or purchased it from someone. I also wonder if it would be suitable to convert to a berth when needed. I would imagine you would lose some strength at the hinges.
