Title: Napa Fuel Pump
Post by: Paulus on September 07, 2012, 08:19:19 AM
After reading all of the problems with the fuel pump, I thought it my be a good idea to carry a spare.  Went to Napa today and they still have the pump 610-1051, cost today about $50.  It comes with an in line filter.  Do you need this filter?
Thanks for the input.
Paul

Paul : I believe that the 1015 pump is the square rather than the round one??

If it is the square one it may have a "screw-in" cylinder filter for the inlet -it is a course filter and is not needed and can be unscrewed.  Just make sure your pump is on the engine side of the Racor filter.   :thumb:

Thanks,  Yes my pump is on the engine side.  Giving me no trouble. It did not look square but I will go back and also check the 601-1074 mentioned in the notes.
Thanks,
Paul
