Title: Reading Light for 1990 C34
Post by: Stephen Butler on July 31, 2011, 02:31:50 PM
We lost one of our original C34 berth reading lights (small, brass color) in a collision with the captain's head.  Does anyone have one of these lights (or two) stored away in their attic, garage, or bilge?  Would certainly cover the costs.  Many thanks

Now would be the perfect time to upgrade to these LEDs that we replaced ours with: http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?productId=65428&catalogId=10001&langId=-1&storeId=11151&storeNum=10109&subdeptNum=10571&classNum=10576 We love them and they are brighter than the orginal light.

I bought 2 of these
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TITANIUM-NITRIDE-BOAT-RV-READING-BUNK-LIGHT-00942TN-/330388816288

and then bought an LED light bulb for one of them.  The other is still in the box.  I put my light in the galley.  I was planning on putting the other one on the bulkhead to shine on the table but haven't needed it yet so it's still sitting in the package waiting for inspiration for a needed install location.
