Title: PROFURL Furling?
Post by: Bob Mobley on February 24, 2010, 05:05:28 PM
Hi,
I needs some words of advice please.   The existing Profurl takes a lot of manual labor to take in or let out.  It is probably 20+ years old.  The manual says that no maintenance is required.    It only mentions keeping it clean.   Any suggestions other than getting a new one?

The manual is both in both French and English, very short on English words.

Thanks,
Bob Mobley

I found the following suggesting replacing the bearings.

I wonder if that is the wise thing.
